The legendary KODAK Retina 117 from 1934

Legandary KODAK Retina 117 camera produced at Nettel in Stuttgart Germany.
The first camera to make use of the 135 film which is still in use today.

Let’s talk about a very special camera today. The KODAK Retina 117 which was produced from 1934-1935 in Kamerawerk “Nettel” in Stuttgart.

It was the first camera to load the 135 film which is still in use nowadays.

The camera used a Compur shutter and was equipped with a Schneider Kreuznach Xenar 3,5/5cm lens.
